Academics

Delta Tau Delta strives to be an academic leader in the fraternity world, and the chapter here at the University of Missouri fully exemplifies that dedication to scholastic excellence. We are consistently above both the fraternity and university average GPAs. The emphasis we place on academics has earned us an Academic Achievement, awarded by the Alumni Consortium in partnership with the University, for several consecutive semesters. With a large chapter size, the opportunities to learn from and aid other brothers academically has helped us excel scholastically, as well as having leaders in various campus academic organizations.

Another pillar of our solid academic foundation is our new member education program. In essence, it pairs a new member with an older member of similar major to act as a mentor. The new member can seek help on homework and studying tips, advice on choosing classes, and be held accountable by the older member to study and go to class on a consistent basis.

Our chapter also has an exceptional academic advisor, Traci Scardina, who is part of the Business Career Services Department at the University of Missouri. She provides exemplary service to our chapter including checking in on member grades, referring members to various academic opportunities, and advising members so that they may reach their full potential during their college experience.
